1995/2025
Almost 30 years ago, we started working on better carry options for hardworking bike messengers around the world. Dissatisfied with the status quo, we got an idea: if seatbelt buckles are built to save lives, they’re tough enough for our bags. So, we pulled an Oldsmobile buckle from a junkyard, sewed it on an industrial-strength messenger, and Chrome was born.
I bought my Citizen in 2003. Not a single issue with the bag in 20 years. Rode year round in Denver and Seattle for at least a decade with the same bag. Literally the only bike bag I’ve ever needed
First time buyer of Chrome shoes, but these are great. Felt good right out of the box. Design is cool. The subtle red accent is a nice touch. Def recommend.
